What counts as a word?
Each word of the text the cloud writes down for you, counted as it arrives. “Send it to Sam tomorrow” is five. A spoken control is words you said, so “take a screenshot” counts three.
When does the week start again?
Every Monday at 00:00 UTC, with a fresh 2,000. The app shows the day under the count, in Settings › Plans. Pro takes the count away altogether.
What does Pro add besides the words?
Command mode, spoken controls (screenshots, files, links, terminal, open apps) and asking ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Perplexity mid-sentence. Free has the cleanup, the tones, the dictionary and the phrases.
Is Pro really unlimited?
Yes, for one person’s own dictation. There is no word count and no meter in the app. The terms rule out reselling it or running other people’s audio through it.
Can I cancel Pro?
Any time, from the app. Pro runs to the end of the month you paid for, then you are back on Free with your dictionary, phrases and history where they were.
Do I need an API key?
No, on any plan. Sign in with Google or your email and the cloud comes with the plan. There is no key to make, paste or rotate.
Is my audio kept?
No. It goes through our servers to the speech service only for as long as it takes to turn it into words, and none of it is stored. The privacy policy has the whole round trip.
Is there a plan for teams?
